Privacy notice

ChargeDekho collects personal data only when you send a form or file a driver report. This notice explains what is kept and why, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Forms (cost estimate, claim, correction, contact): the name, phone, email, city and message you type, plus a hashed form of your IP address and your browser type, kept to stop abuse.
• Driver reports: the status you pick, an optional note and vehicle, and a hashed IP address. No account, no name.
• Saved stations stay in your browser's storage and are never sent to us.
• Location: "Near me" asks your browser for your position once, sends it in the page address to list nearby chargers, and does not store it.

Why and with whom

Cost-estimate requests are shared with charging operators that serve the city you name, because that is what the form is for; you consent to this on the form. Nothing else is shared or sold. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes traffic on our behalf.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, or withdraw consent, by writing to the contact page. We answer within 30 days. Form data is deleted 24 months after the last contact; report data is kept without the hashed address after 12 months.
